Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Magento/PHP developer with 5–9 years of hands-on Magento experience to lead end-to-end Adobe Commerce solutioning—from discovery and estimation to architecture and delivery planning.

You will design and build custom Magento modules, optimize storefronts, and drive integrations with payments and ERP/CRM using REST/GraphQL, while mentoring others and upholding coding standards.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento).
• Solid experience building and customizing Magento solutions, including custom modules and storefront components.
• Strong PHP development experience with an understanding of object-oriented design and maintainable code practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutioning: discovery, estimation, architecture, and delivery planning.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Magento implementations (catalog, checkout, promotions, pricing, customer, order management).
• Define technical standards for module development, theming, integrations, and release management.
• Design and build custom Magento modules, plugins, observers, and APIs using PHP best practices and Magento patterns.
• Implement and optimize storefront experiences (themes, layout XML, UI components) aligned with UX and performance goals.
• Drive integrations with third-party services (payments, shipping, tax, ERP/CRM, PIM) using REST/GraphQL and secure integration patterns.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategy, and adherence to Magento coding standards.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability concerns (caching, indexing, database, search).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business outcomes and timelines.
• Mentor developers, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes.
