Responsibilities

• Apply core revenue accounting principles to determine correct revenue treatment.

• Assist in technical accounting policies like fair value analysis and life analysis of customers.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly closes with ownership of standard journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditors' questions.
• Lead projects related to process improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Revenue Accounting team, within an exciting and dynamic global technology provider. The Specialist- Accounting is a key position in the accounting department tasked with ensuring transactions are accounted for correctly and in accordance with Bottomline s policies. Executing systems and processes effectively to ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Understanding and applying the core revenue accounting principles to determine the correct revenue treatment, in accordance with Bottomline s policies.
• Oversight of certain other accounting areas that are directly impacted by revenue, such as third-party costs.
• Assist in application of technical accounting policies such as fair value analysis and estimated customer life analysis.
• Key participation in monthly and quarterly closes, including ownership of standard journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Assist with audit preparation and questions from the auditors.
• Projects related to process improvement initiatives.
