Job summary

Citco in Pune is seeking a skilled finance professional to manage daily and monthly accounting for operating units, perform month-end close, intercompany transactions, accruals, and balance reconciliation, and ensure records align with Citco policies.

The role covers variance analysis, cash forecasting, internal controls, preparation of financial statements, and liaison with auditors, with opportunities to work across global teams in a collaborative SSC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business required.
• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
• Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Oracle is advantageous.
• Experience with entities overseas (North America and Europe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily/monthly accounting of operating units and month-end close.
• Record intercompany transactions, accruals and prepayments, and reconcile P&L and balance sheet.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with Citco accounting guidelines.
• Provide monthly variance analysis and commentary.
• Forecast cash for assigned operating units.
• Ensure internal control compliance and prepare financial statements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Assist in maintaining General Ledger and ad-hoc duties.
• Collaborate with other Finance functions across SSC and local offices.

About You

Your Role

• Responsible for the daily/monthly accounting of operating unit/s, including month end journals, recording intercompany transactions, recording of accruals and prepayments, reconciling PandL and Balance sheet accounts, and maintaining financial records in accordance with Citco accounting guidelines and policies
• Analyze, interpret and provide monthly variance analysis and commentary
• Responsible for cash forecasting of assigned operating units
• Maintain internal control compliance
• Preparation of financial statements and related disclosures
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Assist in maintaining the General Ledger to a high standard
• Perform special projects and various ad-hoc duties as assigned
• Develop close working relationship with the other Finance functions within the shared service center and local offices
