Job summary

HuntingCube is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Pune. The role focuses on Record to Report processes, including GL accounting, intercompany transactions, consolidation, and month-end close activities.

Proficiency in SAP and Excel is essential to support accurate financial reporting. The candidate should have 2+ years of accounting experience, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and strong analytical skills to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with professional qualifications preferred (CA/CMA).
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in shared services or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of R2R processes and IFRS/GAAP principles.
• Hands-on SAP (FI/CO, HANA) experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting: maintain and reconcile GL accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Intercompany accounting: manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements across entities.
• Consolidation & reporting: assist in financial consolidation and internal/external reporting.
• Month-End Close: prepare/post MJEs, perform account clearing, ensure timely close.
• Foreign Exchange revaluation: perform FX revaluations and analyze currency impacts.
• Compliance & controls: ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Systems & Tools: use SAP for transactions and reporting; leverage Excel for data analysis and automation.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Record to Report (R2R) processes, including General Ledger accounting, Intercompany transactions, Consolidation and Reporting, and Month-End Close activities. Proficiency in SAP and Excel, along with a solid foundation in accounting principles, is essential.

• General Ledger (GL) Accounting: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Intercompany Accounting: Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements across multiple entities.
• Consolidation & Reporting: Assist in financial consolidation and preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Month-End Close Activities: Prepare and post Manual Journal Entries (MJEs), perform account clearing, and ensure timely close of books.
• Foreign Exchange Revaluation: Execute FX revaluation processes and analysis currency impacts on financial statements.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Systems & Tools: Utilize SAP for financial transactions and reporting; leverage Excel for data analysis and reporting automation Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s in finance and accounting or related field (CA, CMA or equivalent preferred).
• More than 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of R2R processes and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO, HANA modules) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills:
• Experience with financial consolidation tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft application (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT etc).
• Exposure to SOX compliance and audit processes
