Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, taxation, compliance, and audit-related activities while ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage books of accounts, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Assist in internal and statutory audits, including documentation and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders for financial reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred).
• Hands-on experience working in a CA firm or accounting consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and auditing processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in handling multiple client accounts.
