JobType: full‑time. The Senior Account Director will partner closely with leadership to develop initiatives, plan events, and define sales strategies to achieve engagement, performance, and revenue growth objectives. The role focuses on driving enterprise sales, expanding market presence, and building strategic relationships with key accounts in the cloud computing domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise sales growth through strategic planning, account management, and team development.
- Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Own company sales targets, profit growth, and market expansion for the enterprise sales vertical.
- Identify emerging business opportunities, ensuring strong market presence and competitive positioning.
- Apply go‑to‑market strategies and tactical approaches to drive profitable enterprise engagements.
- Build and mentor a cohesive, high‑performing sales team to deliver winning proposals and business development efforts.
- Conceptualize and execute market plans to increase sales and business development outcomes.
- Develop and maintain long‑term strategic relationships with CXOs and key decision‑makers; conduct demos and presentations independently.
- Collaborate with partners, ISVs, and cloud BDMs to extend reach and drive adoption of cloud solutions.
- Work with marketing teams to launch account‑specific programs, workshops, and engagement campaigns.
- Conduct market intelligence by building account‑specific databases, tracking buying behaviors, and staying informed on industry, technology, and policy trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales and exceeding targets.
- Direct experience in cloud computing sales (AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms); experience with AWS is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing enterprise sales pipelines and leading outbound prospecting teams.
- Strong leadership mindset with the ability to operate independently, make precise decisions, and navigate uncertain business environments.
- Exceptional written and spoken English with strong business communication skills.
- Experience in government/PSU sales is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data, predict market trends, and identify customer needs and opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment and drive customer success.
- Understanding of cloud architectures and platforms including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to learn, and strong customer‑centric approach.
