Job summary

MAX-HR-Solutions in Bengaluru seeks an expert SAP ABAP/SAPUI5 Developer to lead design, development, and implementation of SAPUI5/Fiori apps. You will support strategic IT initiatives, collaborate with the Munich team to deliver future-ready SAP solutions, and ensure best practices across backend and frontend.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years ABAP/4 experience, strong SAPUI5/Fiori development, OO-ABAP skills, and familiarity with S/4HANA transitions, modules such as SD/PP/QM/FI/CO/MM, and SAP

Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in ABAP/4 Development with strong SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Development.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway Services and OData APIs for connecting backend and frontend.
• Experience in S/4HANA transition projects and modernizing legacy UIs.
• OO-ABAP programming experience.
• Experience in Modules: SD/PP/QM/FI/CO/MM.
• Knowledge of SAP Components (Module-Pool, Dynpro, SAP Reports) and SAP Forms (SAPScript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms).
• Able to write technical design documents and specs.
• Self-motivated, proactive, good communicator in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, development, and implementation of SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications.

Role & responsibilities

• Drive modern UX solutions by leading the design, development, and implementation of SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications.
• Support Strategic Initiatives and Business IT Portfolio Projects with advanced Consulting, ABAP, and modern SAPUI5 Development Activities.
• Work hand-in-hand and closely with the Munich Development and Integration Team to deliver high-quality, future-ready SAP Software Solutions.
• Effectively communicate development insights, architectural decisions, and results to the headquarters in Munich.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements, ensuring all developments follow SAP guidelines and best practices for both backend and frontend.
• Solve support tickets and optimize performance related to ABAP-based applications and Fiori interfaces in the SAP ERP System.

Preferred candidate profile - Your qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in ABAP/4 Development, combined with a strong track record and proven experience in SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Development.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in programming SAP Gateway Services and OData APIs (essential for connecting backend and frontend).
• Experience in S/4HANA transition projects and modernizing legacy UIs.
• Very good exposure to object-oriented ABAP/4 programming (OO-ABAP).
• Experience in at least 1 of the following Modules: SD/PP/QM /FI/CO /MM.
• Experience in traditional SAP Components (Module-Pool, Dynpro, SAP Reports) and SAP Forms Programming (SAPScript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms).
• Solid knowledge of writing technical design documents and software specifications.
• Self-motivated and proactive team player.
• Very good communication skills in an international environment.
