Job summary

Ericsson in India seeks an experienced GPP 5G L2 software designer to contribute to our global development teams, shaping the evolution of 5G NR and readiness for 6G.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize high‑performance modules, collaborate across time zones, and ensure compliance with 3GPP standards and operator requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in telecom software, strong C/C++ and embedded systems programming, and expertise in multi‑core, multi‑threading optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom software development with specialization in 4G/5G L2, preferably on GPP (COTS) platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems programming.
• Solid understanding of 3GPP 5G NR standards and protocols.
• Experience in multi-core, multi-threading programming, and performance optimization.
