Senior 3D Technical Modeler - Diagnostics

Join to apply for the Senior 3D Technical Modeler - Diagnostics role at Walter P Moore.

We are seeking a talented and solutions-oriented 3D modeler to contribute to delivering innovative reality capture solutions. The 3D Modeling Specialist will be responsible for managing a team for processing site conditions from LiDAR scanners and other photogrammetry equipment, performing data post-processing, scan registering tasks, and web viewer visualization. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional interested in gaining more experience in digital asset management.

The selected candidate will lead a team of modelers and work on various structural engineering projects in India and the US, including residential high-rises, commercial developments, aviation facilities, sports facilities, healthcare buildings, industrial setups, and hotels.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and leading a team of 3D modelers.
• Implementing latest BIM-related best practices, standards, and industry learnings.
• Creating digital twins using photogrammetry, LiDAR, 360 cameras, and other sources.
• Developing 3D models (LOD up to 500) in Autodesk Revit Structure, maintaining and owning models.
• Developing high-quality drawings with plans, sections, details, and markups.
• Using in-house plugins and tools to enhance productivity.

Qualifications include a diploma in civil engineering or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with 8+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of U.S. drafting standards is a plus.

Required skills:

• Extensive experience with Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, parametric modeling, and visual programming is a plus.
• Experience with Cyclone, Autodesk ReCap, NavVis Ivion, Civil3D, Revit is beneficial.
• Reality capture and surveying experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive, organized, excellent communication, client-oriented, and proven leadership skills.
