EY Hyderabad is seeking a skilled professional for Indirect Tax - VAT with 4–8 years of experience in EU/EMEA VAT. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software. Knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx is a plus.

You will work on multi-country VAT engagements and coordinate with the Central EY team. Ideal candidates hold a Commerce degree, are adept at managing client engagements from planning to completion, and can drive process

Qualificações

• Graduate or postgraduate in Commerce or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Indirect Tax EU VAT or EMEA VAT.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software.

Responsabilidades

• Multi Country VAT/GST experience is must. Accounts Payable / Receivable is good to have.
• Lead & Implement Client’s engagements from start to finish (Planning, executing, directing and completing project)
• Strong experience in managing engagement economics
• Proactively resolve tax-related problem and make recommendations for business and process improvements
• Act as a single point of contact to handle the engagement related activities for the Central team or Local EY representatives.
• Detailed review of amended returns and related work papers
• Assist in preparation of responses to various tax audits
• Gain details of Client operations, processes and business activities.
• Organize and lead the user conference calls to effectively manage the compliance.
• Drive the new technology, tools and the quality initiatives
• Comply with Ernst & Young compliance procedure

• Graduate/Postgraduates preferably in Commerce
• At least 4 - 8 years of working experience in Indirect Tax EU VAT or EMEA VAT, Accounts Payable / Receivable
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and thorough knowledge on tax applications
• Hands on Indirect Tax VAT
• Technical/Analytical expertise on the Power BI, Alteryx tools would be appreciated

Ideally, youll also have

• High level knowledge and experience of a local country Indirect Tax Compliance.
