Job summary

IBM Consulting in India is seeking a Security Specialist: Endpoint Security to implement, monitor, and maintain security solutions that protect organizational endpoints across client environments.

You will deploy tools such as host-based firewall, IPS, antivirus, and MDM, monitor systems for alerts, and perform basic threat analysis while maintaining up-to-date security documentation and guiding end-users on best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and configuring host-based firewall, IPS, antivirus, and MDM solutions.
• Exposure to basic threat analysis and incident response to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Experience with system monitoring tools to detect and respond to security alerts.
• Exposure to maintaining accurate and up-to-date security documentation for policy compliance.
• Experience working with endpoint security best practices and guiding end-users on security procedures.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist: Endpoint Security, you will implement, monitor, and maintain security solutions to protect organizational endpoints. This role involves deploying and configuring various security tools and solutions to ensure the security and integrity of organizational systems.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Deploy and Configure Security Tools: Deploy and configure tools such as host-based firewall, host-based IPS, antivirus, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions to protect organizational endpoints.
• Monitor Systems for Alerts: Continuously monitor systems for alerts and notifications, and take necessary actions to address potential security threats.
• Conduct Basic Threat Analysis: Conduct basic threat analysis and incident response to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Maintain Security Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
• Support End-Users: Support end-users on security policies and procedures, and provide guidance on best practices for endpoint security.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Security Tools: Familiarity with deploying and configuring security tools such as host-based firewall, host-based IPS, antivirus, file integrity monitoring, and MDM solutions.

• System Monitoring: Experience working with system monitoring tools to detect and respond to security alerts and notifications.
• Security Documentation: Exposure to maintaining accurate and up-to-date security documentation to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
