Job summary

the company seeks a Development role to design, build, automate, and maintain an enterprise Privileged Access Management platform. You will create integrations, automations, APIs, and custom components across CyberArk products in hybrid multi-cloud setups.

Responsibilities include writing secure code, debugging, CI/CD maintenance, and collaborating with QA and Scrum teams to deliver features with high quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience at enterprise scale.
• Proficiency in web development with JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML & DOM.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, AutoIT).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Windows/Linux server administration.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database design.
• Familiarity with authentication standards (SAML, WS-Fed, OpenID, OAuth).
• Understanding of security practices and networking in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile practices and release lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Job description

What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a Developer to design, develop, automate, maintain, operate, and enhance our enterprise Privileged Access Management platform. This role centers on developing integrations, automations, APIs and custom components across CyberArk Privileged Access Manager, CyberArk Secrets Manager and CyberArk Secrets Hub. You will help modernize how privileged credentials and secrets are consumed by both human and machine identities across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

What you will do

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Design and write code that adheres to the story details, meets all the acceptance criteria with high quality, and is consistent with coding standards (e.g. secure coding, etc.)
• Analyze, debug, test, and resolve technical issues
• Manage the integrity of the Continuous Integration (CI) process. This includes maintenance of the CI server
• Assist to provide high-level estimates to assist with release planning when required
• Provide detailed estimates after more story detail is provided, including acceptance criteria
• Ensure the choice of development techniques and tools efficiently satisfy the requirements with least compromises
• Work with QA to design the test strategy
• Write automated “white-box” tests to test code at a very low level of granularity
• Write integration level tests, which test the system at a higher level, with focus on the interaction amongst various subsystems.
• Adhere to best Agile development practices
• Work collaboratively with other team members in Agile environment e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, QA

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3 years hands‑on software development experience, with the most recent experience at enterprise scale
• Web development experience using Javascript, ASP.NET, HTML & DOM for Web Connectors
• Expertise and hands‑on experience with web services (e.g. REST, SOAP)
• Experience with AutoIT v3, PowerShell, and Python
• Working experience with Active Directory
• Windows and Linux OS server administration
• Proficient understanding of SQL and relation databases
• Knowledge and experience with authentication standards such as SAML, WS‑Fed, OpenId or OAuth a plus
• Strong background on security and networking implementation and best practices
• Familiarity with general software development release lifecycle, source code management and defect management methodologies
• Demonstrate ability to complete highly detailed tasks with strict attention to detail, quality and timeliness. Strong organizational and self‑management skills
