Job summary

TECMEE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED in Mumbai is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and escalate threats according to procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role.

You will analyze logs and network data, perform initial triage, document findings, and contribute to playbooks and tool enhancements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring, incident detection and response within SOC.
• Ability to hunt threats (CTH) and use CTI to track emerging threats.
• Analytical skills for interpreting security data and correlating events.
• Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Understanding of networks, OS, and common attack vectors.
• Ability to document incidents clearly and communicate with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH are advantageous.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based SOC environment.

Role Description

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The analyst monitors security alerts and events, investigates potential incidents, and escalates threats according to defined procedures. Daily responsibilities include analyzing logs and network data, performing initial triage, and documenting findings and incident reports. The role collaborates with other cybersecurity and IT teams to implement mitigations, improve detection capabilities, and refine SOC processes. The analyst also participates in continuous improvement activities, such as updating playbooks and contributing to the enhancement of security tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong Security Operations Center and cybersecurity skills, with experience in monitoring, incident detection, and response.
• Proficiency in cyber threat hunting (CTH) and cyber threat intelligence (CTI) to identify, analyze, and track emerging threats.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex security data, correlating events, and making evidence-based decisions.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, endpoint security solutions, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors and techniques.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, document incidents clearly, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar are beneficial.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based SOC environment and stay current with evolving cybersecurity trends and best practices.
