Naukri Assist in Mumbai seeks an Information Security & Regulatory Compliance specialist to monitor RBI guidelines, translate them into actionable controls, and coordinate with risk, security, and audit teams. You will drive remediation of audit observations, prepare executive dashboards and compliance documentation, and track regulatory changes to keep the organization aligned with evolving requirements.

• Monitor RBI guidelines, circulars, and regulatory requirements from an Information Security and Cybersecurity perspective.
• Analyze regulatory requirements and translate into controls and recommendations for stakeholders.

• Drive remediation activities for audit findings and compliance gaps, ensuring timely closure.
• Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, and compliance documentation for leadership reviews.
• Review RBI communications and convert into organization-specific requirements and implementation plans.
• Identify regulatory gaps and remediation actions with stakeholders.
• Track regulatory changes and assess impact on security and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret RBI guidelines, circulars, and regulatory requirements from an Information Security and Cybersecurity perspective.


• Analyze regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable controls, guidelines, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.


• Coordinate with business, technology, security, risk, compliance, and audit teams to gather information, track compliance status, and address regulatory requirements.


• Drive remediation activities for audit observations, regulatory findings, and compliance gaps, ensuring timely closure.


• Prepare executive-level presentations, management reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation for leadership reviews.


• Review and decode RBI circulars and regulatory communications, converting them into organization-specific compliance requirements and implementation plans.


• Identify regulatory gaps, compliance risks, and improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders to define remediation actions.


• Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization's security and compliance posture.


• Ensure proper governance, reporting, and evidence management to demonstrate compliance with regulatory expectations.


• Required Skills & Experience:


• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, banking regulations, and regulatory compliance frameworks.


• Information Security, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).


• Experience in handling audit findings, regulatory observations, and remediation tracking.


• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.


• Strong presentation, reporting, and documentation capabilities.


• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively to technical and business stakeholders.


• Experience working with banking, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
