Job summary

Kunvarji is seeking a highly skilled Security Expert to protect its infrastructure, networks, and systems from threats. The ideal candidate will design security policies, assess risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include strategy implementation, threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and governance. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field is required, with certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable.

• Design, implement, and manage security policies, and systems to protect the organization’s data.
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Required Proficiency in Fortinet Firewalls, WIFI networks, VPN, CISCO Switches.
• Monitor systems for suspicious activity, investigate security breaches, and respond swiftly to mitigate threats.
• Implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions to detect potential threats in real time.
• Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure systems are secure.
• Deploy patches and updates to fix identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness.
• Lead forensic investigations and post-incident analysis to improve future security measures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (SEBI,ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Educate employees on security best practices and conduct regular security awareness training.
• Collaborate with IT, and legal teams to ensure security policies align with organizational goals.
• Prepare detailed reports on security status, incidents, and improvements.

• Expertise in firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and threat analysis.
• Proficiency in encryption, authentication protocols, and access controls.
• Familiarity with cloud security (O365, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven track record of managing security incidents and implementing mitigation strategies.
