Job summary

Emergent seeks a senior Cloud / Infrastructure Security leader to design and secure our AI-driven execution environment. You will own security architecture, sandboxing strategies, and defense against container escapes and privilege escalation.

You will run zero-trust, secure service-to-service communications, and SIEM integration, overseeing IAM, secrets management, and secure CI/CD pipelines at global scale. Join founders and core engineering to tackle novel security challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of Cloud / Infrastructure Security experience.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong IAM and secrets management expertise.
• Solid understanding of container and network security.

You will secure the infrastructure that powers autonomous software creation.

What You’ll Do

• Design sandboxing strategies for untrusted code execution
• Prevent container escapes, privilege escalation, and lateral movement
• Build isolation at compute, network, and storage layers

Own cloud security architecture

• Design zero-trust systems across services
• Build secure service-to-service communication

Runtime security & detection

• abnormal execution patterns
• malicious workloads
• Integrate logging, SIEM, and real-time alerting

Secure CI/CD and agent pipelines

• Protect build systems and deployment pipelines
• Prevent supply chain attacks in AI-generated code
• Ensure integrity of artifacts
