We are currently seeking a Security Center Operations Sr. Analyst to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Security Operations & Vulnerability Management Analyst (4+ Years Experience)
Experience Required
- 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Incident Management, or related Information Security functions.
- Prior experience working in a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and coordinate security incidents, AV/EDR alerts, and customer security requests.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), ensuring agent health, endpoint coverage, policy compliance, and security updates.
- Coordinate incident remediation and containment activities with infrastructure, server, network, and platform teams.
- Lead and participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) bridge calls during critical security events.
- Document security investigations, remediation actions, and customer-requested changes with complete audit traceability.
- Drive effective communication and stakeholder management during security incidents and service-impacting events.
- Perform vulnerability triage, risk assessment, and prioritization using CVSS-based methodologies.
- Analyze vulnerability reports and assign remediation actions to appropriate asset owners.
- Track patching, mitigation, and remediation activities to ensure closure within defined SLAs.
- Manage vulnerability and security-related tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
- Generate operational dashboards, remediation reports, and risk metrics for management and customer reporting.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with infrastructure teams to drive vulnerability closure and reduce organizational risk exposure.
- Support audit, compliance, and governance activities by maintaining accurate security records and remediation evidence.
Required Technical Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Cybersecurity Operations.
- Strong understanding of SOC operations and incident response lifecycles.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) administration and endpoint security management.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management practices, CVSS scoring, and remediation workflows.
- Working knowledge of firewalls, network security controls, and traffic analysis.
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux server environments and administration concepts.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (AD), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and endpoint security technologies.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience using ServiceNow for incident, request, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, reporting, tracking, and data analysis.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management, Qualys VMDR, or Tenable.
- Exposure to ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR/VIT), dashboard creation, and report automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, threat vectors, and attack methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Defender security ecosystem, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud.
- Basic understanding of SIEM platforms and security monitoring concepts, preferably Microsoft Sentinel.
- Experience managing MDE onboarding/offboarding using Intune, Group Policy (GPO), or MECM/SCCM.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive remediation activities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
