We are a rapidly growing cybersecurity company looking for an experienced Security Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the security posture of leading organisations while mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Security Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and review of security architectures across diverse environments. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving threat landscapes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and business teams to identify security gaps and develop tailored solutions that strengthen the overall security posture.
• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor in client-facing roles, especially interacting with CISO organisations. Translate complex security concepts into actionable recommendations and deliver high-impact presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentoring & Leadership: Guide and mentor fresh graduates and junior team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team, with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and skills development.
• Security Reviews & Assessments: Conduct comprehensive security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses to ensure that solutions are secure by design and meet client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and reviewing security architectures in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives and improvements.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical topics clearly.
• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching fresh graduates or junior team members, with a genuine enthusiasm for knowledge sharing.
• Track record of successful client engagements, preferably in roles that involve direct collaboration with CISO organisations or executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Security certifications) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture roles.
