Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services, based in Kolkata, seeks an experienced Security Architect to design and review secure enterprise, application, and cloud architectures. You will develop reference architectures, lead threat modeling, and implement controls across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on architecture, strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, and monitoring, and proven stakeholder collaboration skills. Kolkata-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years in a Security Architect role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform security services.
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, IAM, encryption, data protection, and security monitoring.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAF, CASB, and CNAPP platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security services and architecture patterns.
• Experience with security frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, container security, and Kubernetes security.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and review secure enterprise, application, infrastructure, and cloud architectures.
• Develop security reference architectures, standards, and best practices.
• Lead security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews for new solutions.
• Define and implement security controls for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, DevOps, and business teams to embed security by design.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and regional regulations.
• Support risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Guide Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data Protection, and Security Monitoring initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents involving complex security architecture issues.
