AECOM is seeking an experienced Section In-Charge – Transmission Line to lead zone-wise execution and PMC supervision of 765KV transmission line projects. You will manage survey, foundations, tower erection, stringing, OPGW installation, and ensure HSE/compliance.

The role requires 12+ years of experience in transmission line construction, with exposure to 765 kV or HVDC projects, and the ability to coordinate multiple contractors across dispersed sites.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
12+ years of experience in transmission line construction projects.
Experience in 765 kV and/or HVDC transmission projects preferred.

Responsabilidades

Lead PMC supervision and execution within the assigned transmission line zone.
Coordinate survey, foundation, tower erection, stringing, and OPGW.
Monitor contractor work fronts, manpower, productivity, and schedules.
Verify availability of approved drawings, ROW access, materials, permits, and work fronts.
Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quality, Survey, and HSE teams.
Monitor section progress against project milestones and identify productivity constraints.
Review method statements, lifting plans, crossing plans, and permit requirements.
Conduct daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
Oversee special crossings, shutdown activities, railway/highway interfaces, and statutory permissions.
Ensure timely inspections, RFI closures, testing records, and work release approvals.
Verify work quantities and progress records supporting contractor billing submissions.
Monitor material utilization, reconciliation, storage, and logistics within the section.
Coordinate pre-commissioning activities, punch-list closure, and project handover.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and escalation reports.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Section In-Charge – Transmission Line(765KV ) to lead zone-wise execution and PMC supervision of transmission line construction projects. The role is responsible for managing survey, foundations, tower erection, stringing, OPGW installation, quality, HSE compliance, contractor performance, progress monitoring, and handover activities within an assigned transmission line section.

Qualifications

Education

Experience

Minimum 12 years of experience in transmission line construction projects.
Experience in 765 kV and/or HVDC transmission projects is preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple contractors, work fronts, and geographically dispersed construction activities.
