Job summary

MUVIQ S.r.l. is seeking an experienced FEAD Simulation Engineer to develop and validate Front End Accessory Drive system models for automotive belt drive applications.

You will collaborate with design, testing, and OEM customers to deliver robust, durable, and cost-effective solutions, including scale-up of coating technology and experimental planning. The role involves dynamic/static simulations, design improvement proposals, and reporting.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• 6-8 years in automotive system simulation and FEAD experience.
• Experience in simulation-driven product development and engine components.

Responsibilities

• FEAD system simulation development and maintenance using SimDrive and CAE tools.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and OEM customers for robust solutions.
• Correlation of simulation with test and vehicle data; durability and NVH testing.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings; support product development.

Job Summary : -

• This Position will manage for developing, validating, and optimizing FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) system models for automotive damper & tensioner applications, supporting product development (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) improvement, durability enhancement, and performance optimization activities.
• The role requires close collaboration with design, testing, application engineering, and OEM customers to deliver robust and reliable belt drive solutions & development of the application, including scale-up of the coating technology, experiment plan, product design, prototype production, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities : -

FEAD System Simulation

• Develop and maintain FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) system models using Sim drive (Mandatory)and related CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools.
• Perform static & dynamic simulations for below following:
• Belt drive performance
• Belt slip analysis
• Tensioner behaviour
• Resonance and vibration analysis
• Start-stop systems
• Analyse FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) architecture and propose design improvements for performance, durability, and cost optimization.
• Conduct parametric studies and sensitivity analyses for system optimization.

Application Engineering

• Support OEM customers in FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) system development and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate customer requirements and convert them into simulation models.
• Recommend suitable:
• Belt systems
• Tensioners
• Pulleys
• Decouplers
• FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) layouts
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with customers and cross-functional teams.

Validation & Correlation

• Correlate simulation models with test bench and vehicle-level data.
• Support validation activities including:
• Durability testing
• NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) testing
• Thermal performance assessments
• Investigate simulation-to-test deviations and implement model improvements.

Technical Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal teams and customers.
• Present simulation findings and engineering recommendations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive)-related issues.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and best practices.

Product Development Support

• Support new product development projects throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with Design, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, advanced simulation methodologies, and process improvements
