Responsibilities

• Ensure the lesson plan prepared is followed along with the mentioned resources and activities.
• Ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
• Should make use of effective pedagogical styles to suit different aptitudes, learning styles and interests of the students.
• Must maintain discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary systems.
• Promote maximum student participation and assist students in improving study habits.
• Keep basic hygiene in check and pay attention to health matters seriously for each child.
• Create an effective learning environment through displays, bulletin boards, and learning centers.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with parents and provide feedback to them.
• Must compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
• Adhere to all policies in force and implement them.
• Conduct quarterly stock checks of teaching aids with the coordinator.
• Participate in professional development through courses, seminars, and events.
• Attend meetings convened by the principal and coordinators.
• Liaise and collaborate with resource persons and others.
• Interact with the Principal for academic issues and coordinate with staff as needed.
• Interface with Admin, Finance, HR, and Technology for operational issues

Lesson Delivery

Student Administration

• Ensure discipline is maintained in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
• Promote maximum student participation and assist students in improving study habits.
• Should keep a check on basic hygiene and pay attention to health matters seriously and diligently for each child.

Classroom Functioning

• Create an effective learning environment through functional and attractive displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers
• Ensure a positive and professional relationship with parents is maintained & provide feedback to parents.

Secondary Responsibility: Administration / School Policies

• Must compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
• Should adhere to all the policies in force/ introduced from time to time and actively implement the same.
• Should do any similar work not specified in this job description at the coordinator's request.
• Should conduct quarterly stock check of the teaching aids along with the coordinator.
• Should participate in professional development through internal and external courses, seminars, conferences, and events.
• Attending all meetings convened by the principal and coordinators.
• Ensure liaising and collaborating with resource person and others.

Work Relations

• Interfacing with Principal for academic related issues.
• Interfacing with Co- teachers and other staff members as and when required.
• Interfacing with Admin, Finance, HR, Technology for any people for any operational issues
