Job summary

Lighthouse India offers a role in Search Consulting where you will apply linguistics, eDiscovery law and technology to optimize pre-review data minimization and review efficiency. The role emphasizes mastery of dtSearch, Relativity, and regex, with mentorship of junior staff in a fast-paced ITES environment. Remote-friendly with office space available.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in ediscovery.
• Fluency in dtSearch syntax and Relativity experience.
• Ability to read and generate regular expressions.
• Strong client service ethic in fast-paced ITES environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis to reduce data volumes pre-review.
• Develop workflow/SOP strategy and documentation.
• Provide high-accuracy search consultation to clients.
• Create client-facing analyses, reports, and deliverables.
• Mentor less experienced team members and collaborate with PM teams.

What’s unique about this role?

Search Consulting is a team of experts in linguistics, eDiscovery law and process, and legal technology. The team consults on and supports pre-review data minimization, maximizing cull rates, and applying technology and search expertise to optimize downstream review efficiencies. The Search Consultant contributes to the team’s goals by providing services such as keyword search term optimization, analyzing, iterating, and reporting on terms to clients, and data minimization pre-review. This is a consultative role with the Search Consultant often communicating results and recommendations to counsel and clients, including, as necessary, on calls.

What will this person do?

• Conducts analysis and application of technology to reduce data volumes pre-review
• Contributes to development of workflow and SOP strategy and documentation
• Conducts search consultation services with high accuracy and timeliness
• Develops mastery of dtSearch syntax and relevant review platform features/functionality
• Mentors less experienced team members
• Performs other tasks as needed
• Develops expertise in all standard search consultation services and QC protocols
• Creates client-facing analyses, reports, and other deliverables
• Develops holistic understanding of client contexts, needs, and motivations
• Contributes to service management activities aimed at increasing knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Search team, such as:
  • Process and tool innovation
  • Service standardization and best practices definition
  • Creation of service documentation and formal training
  • Internal point of contact for project management teams
  • Proactively addresses questions from project management teams or clients in timely manner
  • Proactively collaborates with project management teams re: client communications/consultation/escalations

• Comfortable with a remote working environment with space available for office infrastructure and private workspace
