Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a SDET Automation Test Engineer for a permanent role in Pune. The candidate should have 4–7 years of software testing experience with at least 2 years in automation and technical testing.

Responsibilities include running automation scripts, maintaining frameworks, and performing UI/API automation using Selenium-Java, Robot Framework, Rest Assured, and related tools. Strong Java, SQL, Unix, and Cucumber knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years experience in software testing with at least 2 years in technical testing and automation.
• Independently run automation scripting and framework maintenance activities with minimal supervision.
• Experience in UI automation with Selenium-Java/Robot Framework and database automation with Java/Python/Robot Framework.
• Good knowledge of Java, SQL, Unix, Cucumber.
• REST API automation testing via Rest Assured/Robot Framework or any other tool is must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in an environment with changing priorities.
• Highly self-motivated, adaptable and results oriented individual.
