Job summary

Opus Technologies in Pune is seeking an SDET with 6+ years of experience to strengthen our quality engineering team. Hybrid work setup with collaboration across development and QA to ship robust software.

You will drive test strategies, build automation in Java/TypeScript, and ensure coverage across microservices and databases in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a CS degree, strong problem-solving, experience with Agile, and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (Must)
• Hands-on experience in the skillset listed below (Must)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail (Must)
• Good at test strategy analysis systematically and delivery focused (Must)
• Experience in Unit, Functional, and Integration testing (Must)
• Practical exposure to building and using test automation frameworks with Java (Must)
• Experience with any automation tool, preferred Playwright (Preferred)
• Experience testing across Microservices and Databases (Must)
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and various protocols (Must)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (Must)

• Working knowledge of code coverage tools to ensure higher code/conditional coverage. (Must)
• Experience in working in Agile Methodology. (Must)
• Experience working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability. (Must)
• Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platform is preferred.
• Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written, collaboration skills, and organizational skills
• Application development experience Using Java. (Preferred)
• Security Testing experience using security test tools.g (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Java scripting, TypeScript (Preferred)
• Exposure to Software Engineering Principles. (Preferred)
