Job summary

Out of the Blue in Bengaluru, India is seeking an SDE 2 - Full Stack Engineer to build, ship, and maintain scalable web applications using Python/Django and Next.js. You will collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.

This hands-on role requires ownership of modules, writing clean, tested code, and contributing to CI/CD and engineering best practices. You will tackle performance and reliability challenges in a fast-paced startup environment and help

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django.
• Good experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and web application development.
• Good understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, including OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience debugging and resolving production issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently own features and deliver them with minimal supervision.
