Hitachi Energy India Limited in Bengaluru, India is seeking a procurement and supply chain professional to manage capacity planning, forecasting, and supplier performance. You will coordinate demand and supply, mitigate risks, and enforce contract terms with suppliers.

The role involves reviewing supplier spend, driving improvements, and leading regular supplier performance discussions while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal capacity procurement and allocation, coordinating the forecast of supply and demand
• Identify areas of risk within the supply chain Category; implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders and other agreements and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy.
• Analyze supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements; leverages value for the company.
• Resolve non-conformance issues in a timely manner to minimize the Company's exposure
• Work with Procurement buyers, Category managers and users to ensure internal and external customer needs are met.
• Responsible for planning, organizing and chairing regular Performance Reviews with Suppliers
• Coordinate with the quality team and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve short comings.
