Job summary

Regeneron Hyderabad (Hybrid) seeks a Scientist in Precision Medicine Quantitative Biomarker Sciences to advance quantitative biology, data quality control, and visualization tool development. You will integrate cross-study data, automate pipelines, and deliver high-quality biomarker insights for translational research.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop interactive dashboards with R Shiny/Quarto, and contribute to cloud-based analytics and AI-assisted coding efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, life sciences, or related field.
  • 4+ years of programming and data analysis experience in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Experience with molecular, biomarker, omics, and/or clinical trial datasets.
  • Strong programming in R, Python, Bash; experience with R Shiny and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control; knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
  • Understanding of statistical concepts (linear/logistic/survival models; multiple testing).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced research environments.
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualization solutions.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Support ad hoc analysis requests and generate updated figures and visualizations from data subsets.
  • Automate data processing pipelines, perform QC checks, document parameters and outcomes.
  • Conduct data quality reviews and facilitate issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Build, maintain, and publish interactive data viewers using R Shiny, RMarkdown, or Quarto templates.
  • Support cross-study database integration through data standardization, mapping, harmonization, and ETL checks.
  • Coordinate sample management and Olink randomization layouts.
  • Maintain reusable AI-assisted analysis assets, code libraries, and workflow documentation.
  • Collaborate with scientists, bioinformaticians, and cross-functional partners on biomarker analysis.

We are seeking a Scientist, Precision Medicine Quantitative Biomarker Sciences to join our team. In this role, you will support quantitative biology and bioinformatics initiatives through data analysis, data quality control, visualization tool development, pipeline automation, and cross-study data integration. You will work within established scientific and technical frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to generate high-quality biomarker insights that support clinical development and translational research.

  • Support ad hoc analysis requests and generate updated figures, visualizations, and outputs using different data subsets, groupings, labels, and formatting while maintaining statistical integrity.
  • Execute and optimize automated data processing pipelines, perform routine quality control checks, and document execution parameters and outcomes.
  • Conduct data and results quality control reviews, generate QC summaries, and facilitate issue resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Build, maintain, and publish interactive data viewers using R Shiny, RMarkdown, or Quarto templates for single-study and cross-study data exploration.
  • Support cross-study database integration through data standardization, variable mapping, identifier harmonization, data validation, and ETL quality checks.
  • Generate balanced Olink randomization layouts using approved methodologies and coordinate downstream sample management activities.
  • Maintain reusable AI-assisted analysis assets, code libraries, prompts, and workflow documentation to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with scientists, bioinformaticians, and cross-functional partners to support biomarker data analysis and reporting initiatives.
This Role Requires
  • Bachelors degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of programming and data analysis experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Experience working with molecular, biomarker, omics, and/or clinical trial datasets.
  • Strong programming experience with R, R Shiny, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code and other generative AI technologies.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts including linear models, logistic models, survival analysis, and multiple testing considerations.
  • Strong quality control, validation, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of one or more therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, metabolic, immunology, hematology, oncology, renal, neurodegenerative, muscle and metabolism disorders, or rare genetic diseases.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional and global teams.
  • Experience developing interactive analytical dashboards and data visualization solutions.
  • Experience with data integration, database management, and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting translational research and biomarker-driven drug development programs.
  • Exposure to cloud-based analytics and modern bioinformatics workflows is advantageous.
