Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and results-driven School Principal to lead academic excellence, operational effectiveness, and holistic student development. The Principal will play a critical role in shaping school culture, improving learning outcomes, driving admissions growth, and strengthening stakeholder trust.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Define and execute the school’s academic vision and long-term strategy
- Ensure curriculum delivery aligned with CBSE / ICSE / State Board standards
- Monitor teaching quality, assessments, learning outcomes, and board results
- Promote innovative pedagogy, digital learning, and NEP 2020 practices
Administration & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day school operations, admissions, timetables, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to statutory norms, safety standards, and inspections
- Manage budgets, infrastructure, and optimal resource utilization
Faculty & Staff Management
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers and administrative staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs
- Build a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
Student Development & Discipline
- Drive academic excellence, discipline, attendance, and wellbeing
- Encourage co-curricular, sports, and extracurricular activities
- Implement counseling, career guidance, and student support initiatives
Parent & Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents, SMCs, and stakeholders
- Address parent concerns with transparency and professionalism
- Represent the school in forums, inspections, and community events
Growth, Analytics & Brand Building
- Lead admissions growth, retention strategies, and school reputation
- Use data and analytics to improve student results and teacher performance
- Collaborate with digital platforms for performance tracking and insights
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate degree (B.Ed / M.Ed preferred)
- 1–20 years of experience in teaching and/or school leadership roles
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with school ERP systems, analytics, and digital tools
Preferred Qualifications
\- Experience in CBSE / ICSE / State Board schools
- Exposure to inspections, accreditations, and audits
- Proven track record of improving academic results and admissions
