Job summary

DataScienceLab is seeking a Senior Tech Consultant/Technical Architect specializing in SAS Administration based in Hyderabad, India. This role requires extensive experience in SAS installations, particularly in Unix environments, and a strong understanding of SAS Authentication and Authorization.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience, including migration to newer SAS platforms, and will be responsible for managing SAS software installations, coordinating technical services, and troubleshooting server issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with renewal and installation of SAS licenses.

Position : Senior Tech Consultant/Technical Architect – SAS Administration

Location : Hyderabad, India

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Science.
• 6+ years of experience in SAS Administration.
• Performed a Unix‑based multi‑machine SAS installation and has deep understanding of SAS Authentication and Authorization.
• Exposure to SAS 9.4 platform with in‑built application tier is preferred.
• Strong migration/modernization skills; has performed migration of a full SAS production environment to a newer release/platform.
• Exposure to clustered compute and mid‑tier (nice to have) and SAS Grid environment (preferred).
• Hadoop Platform Administration experience is a plus.
• Certification in SAS Platform Administration for SAS 9.

Job Profile
