• 10+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience.
• 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA projects.
• 5+ years in frontend development.
• Strong data architecture, web tech, and enterprise integration knowledge.
• Experience with ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end TP4 technical architecture and integration approach.
• Translate functional designs into detailed technical designs.
• Conduct technical impact assessments and identify risks.
• Create architecture diagrams, Technical Design Documents, interface mappings, and security reviews.
• Collaborate with Master Data, OTC, Security, Basis, Demand Planning, Integration, and other teams.
• Lead engineering across ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, OData, CDS, workflows, and batch processing.
• Review designs, code, unit tests, transports, and deployment packages.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, coding standards, security requirements, and performance targets.
• Track technical debt and drive code quality improvements.

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience, including 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA projects and 5+ years in frontend development.

We are seeking an experienced SAP TP4 Solution Architect / Technical Engineering Lead to own end-to-end technical architecture and lead engineering execution from solution design through deployment and production support.

The role combines architecture ownership, hands-on development, technical governance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, data architecture, enterprise integration, and security, with experience supporting high-volume production systems.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture and Design

• Define the end-to-end TP4 technical architecture, solution boundaries, dependencies, and integration approach.
• Translate approved functional designs into detailed technical designs aligned with enterprise standards.
• Conduct technical impact assessments, evaluate architecture options, and identify risks.
• Create architecture diagrams, Technical Design Documents, interface mappings, and security review documentation.
• Collaborate with Master Data, OTC, Security, Basis, Demand Planning, Integration, and other technical teams.

Technical Development and Leadership

• Lead engineering across ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, OData, CDS, workflows, integrations, reporting, and batch processing.
• Develop complex solutions and provide hands‑on guidance to technical teams.
• Review technical designs, source code, unit‑test evidence, transports, and deployment packages.
• Ensure implementation aligns with approved architecture, coding standards, security requirements, and performance expectations.
• Track technical debt and drive improvements in code quality and maintainability.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

SAP Implementation and Core Technical Expertise

• 10+ years of hands‑on SAP implementation project experience.
• 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA project experience.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, modern web technologies, and enterprise integration methods.
• Expertise in customizing and configuration tables, number ranges, numbering sequences, enqueue and locking mechanisms, RFC integration, authorization objects, SAP workflows, and change and transport management.

ABAP Development

• Object‑Oriented ABAP and complex data structures.
• Open SQL, functional programming concepts, and dynamic programming.
• Numbering, locking, debugging, and performance optimization.
• RFC communication, BAPIs, and web services.
• OData V2 and V4 services.

SAPUI5 and Fiori

• SAPUI5 and OpenUI5.
• Asynchronous and reactive programming.
• AJAX and request handling.

Functional Knowledge

Working knowledge of one or more of the following is mandatory:

Preferred Experience

• Functional or technical experience with SAP Trade Promotion Management or another TPM solution.
• Technical impact assessments, dependency maps, initial risk assessments, and architecture options.
• Architecture diagrams, Technical Design Documents, interface mappings, and security reviews.
• Completed builds, code-review records, unit‑test evidence, build‑to‑design reviews, and technical debt updates.
