Shyam Steel Works in Kolkata is seeking an experienced SAP Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and run automated tests across SAP applications, including S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, and SuccessFactors. You will collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality SAP implementations.

The role requires 4+ years of SAP testing and automation experience, hands-on tool expertise (Tosca, Certify, CBTA, Selenium, UFT), and strong analytical skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of SAP Testing and Test Automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, SAP CBTA, Selenium WebDriver, or UFT/QTP.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, HCM, or SuccessFactors).
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of test and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• CI/CD and DevOps experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for SAP applications.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions across SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in SAP testing, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes for SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HCM, and SuccessFactors. The role involves collaborating with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality SAP implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for SAP applications.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, Selenium, UFT, or SAP CBTA.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate SAP interfaces, APIs, middleware integrations, and data migration processes.
• Identify, document, track, and resolve defects through defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate test reports, quality metrics, and automation coverage dashboards.
• Support SAP upgrade, migration, and transformation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP Testing and Test Automation.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP automation tools such as:
• Tricentis Tosca
• Worksoft Certify
• SAP CBTA
• Selenium WebDriver
• UFT/QTP
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, EWM, HCM, or SuccessFactors.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• SAP Testing or Automation certifications.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
