Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated SAP Solution Architect who is passionate about developing complex solutions for strategic customers using a data-centric security for SAP product line. You will help define solution strategy, drive design and technical implementation, and architect innovative solutions. You will work on diverse projects from gathering customer requirements to implementing the solution, providing Information Security and Compliance solutions for Global 2000 companies. This position requires excellent client services and technical skills, expertise with architecture, design, and implementation of information security software, identity and access management systems, or enterprise software, and documentation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services in the SAP ecosystem.
• Design new solution extensions based on customer requirements.
• Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team.
• Guide the engineering team to develop, configure, and implement the solution as per product development standards to meet business requirements.
• Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP's Solution Extensions.
• Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged and work is not duplicated.
• Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases, and automation.
• Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
• Help create and review training, product, and solution documentation.
• Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with components that interface with Entitlement Manager for SAP Business Suite.
• Hold self and others accountable to committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables.
• Engage with leading customers and strategic partners to identify and validate requirements and translate them into solution design.
• Lead the team in driving and delivering customer solutions, including integration architecture and infrastructure design activities.
• Participate in resolving technology integration problems.
• Act as a mentor and coach, and provide training to engineers and consultants by sharing solution and technical expertise.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects.
• Be hands‑on with RICEFW development and new ABAP syntax as needed to support project timelines and objectives.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or an architect role.
• Good understanding of SAP best practices, SAP architecture, and the technical data flow of SAP business processes.
• Excellent expertise in ABAP development with a very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, and APO.
• Extensive development experience using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL programming, SAP Fiori, and OData.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP based design and development and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
• Expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, developing tests, and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.
• Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and REST APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.
• Experience managing projects and working with a team of engineers.
• Proficiency in performance tuning to deliver optimized solutions.
• Ability to assess and report technical risks and issues, and to report verbally and in writing to executive level.
• Good communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Preferred Background

Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, Data Masking, and Data Anonymization techniques is a huge plus. Java-based development, SAP security concepts (including implementing authorization checks in ABAP objects), SAC and other SAP Cloud technologies, solution demos and presentations to customers and stakeholders, and exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR, and Export Compliance are a plus.
