Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced SAP SD consultant with 8+ years in Sales and Distribution and VMS on SAP S/4HANA. The role involves designing and integrating SAP SD, VMS and Billing processes, addressing L2/L3 incidents, and delivering functional specifications to the technical team.

The candidate should work independently, ensure security controls, and apply Agile methodologies while supporting SAP upgrades and maintenance. B.Tech or BE required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of SAP consulting experience in Sales and Distribution / VMS in SAP S4 HANA.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and integrating SAP SD, VMS and Billing processes.
• Experience in addressing L2 & L3 incidents; capable of proposing enhancements and writing functional specs.
• Ability to work independently; ensure security and controls; familiarize with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Involve in production incident and problem ticket handling; analyze requirements and implement SAP ERP solutions for SAP Sales and Distribution/VMS.
• Document functional specifications and deploy SAP ERP solutions for pricing, billing and Customer Service within SAP SD module.
• Lead or participate in agile ceremonies and mentor junior team members.

Job description

A minimum of 08 plus years of SAP consulting experience in Sales and Distribution / VMS in SAP S4 HANA, Strong functional hands-on experience in designing, building and integrating SAP SD, VMS and Billing processes. Good technical knowledge to address any L2 & L3 incident fix. Must have SAP SD real time green field implementation experience. Should be able to analyze open production incidents and problem tickets, propose solution to address incident OR identify what change would be needed for problem ticket to address the gap. Strong in proposing enhancement changes and develop functional specification, communicates to technical team to develop the required solutions in the most effective way. Good experience and knowledge of handling jobs in SAP customization and involved in implementations of the same, support SAP upgrade, Support, Incident fix and Maintenance of SAP SD module. Ability to work independently. Ensure that appropriate security and controls are adhered. Utilize the Agile methodology to develop software for the application. Formal SAP training and certification or knowledge is an advantage.

Involve in production incident and problem ticket handling. Involve in business process design, analyze requirements and document functional specification, implement, incident fix and deploy SAP ERP solutions for sales, all business transactions in SAP Sales and Distribution/VMS relative to Pricing and billing and Customer Service component. Perform Unit, functional and Integration testing for the projects Ensure that appropriate security and controls are adhered. Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools and methodologies within application. Troubleshoot and fix the issue(s) in production within the agreed SLA Lead or actively participate in all team agile ceremonies, Backlog Refinement / Iteration Planning, Stand-up, Iteration Closure, Iteration Retrospective Work independently, act as SME and mentor other junior members in the team.
