Job summary

Solventum in Bangalore (Hybrid) is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EWM Analyst to lead end-to-end EWM implementations across global manufacturing environments. You will design, configure, test, deploy, and provide hyper care support while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role requires strong functional knowledge, solution design capability, and excellent communication to drive outcomes. Travel around 40% to commuting offices will be expected.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years SAP experience with 2–5 years in SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM or decentralized e-WM
• 2–4 years of EWM implementation experience
• End-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, or enhancement experience
• Experience with unit management, batch management, serial number management, packing, and work centre config
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound/internal warehouse management processes

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations, designs, configs, testing, deployment, and hyper care
• Design and optimize warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, internal ops, production integration, quality management)
• Improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and efficiency through best practices
• Support centralized e-WM queue management and mobility solutions (RF)
• Facilitate workshops, requirements, validation, and stakeholder discussions
• Participate in Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, defect management and sign-off
• Manage master data migration, stock uploads, cutover planning, and production deployment
• Support AMS engagements by reducing incidents and driving optimization
• Analyze production issues and implement preventive solutions
• Deliver enhancements and knowledge assets; provide post-go-live hyper care

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Experienced SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Embedded and Centralized EWM solutions across global manufacturing environments. Leading end‑to‑end implementations, solution architecture, warehouse process optimization, system integration, and post‑go‑live support. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge, solution design capability, and excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP EWM Solution Design & Implementation Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hyper care support.
• Design and optimize warehouse processes covering inbound, outbound, internal warehouse operations, production integration, and quality management.
• Recommend industry best practices to improve warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Design and support centralized e-Wm queue management!
• Support warehouse mobility solutions including RF devices and issue to front end users.
• Facilitate business workshops, requirement analysis, solution validation, and stakeholder discussions.
• Participateon Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities, including defect management and business sign-off.
• Execute master data migration, stock uploads, cutover planning, validation, and production deployment.
• Support SAP EWM AMS engagements by driving incident reduction, process optimization, and automation initiatives.
• Analyze recurring production issues and implement preventive solutions to improve system stability.
• Deliver functional enhancements and knowledge assets to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Provide post-go-live hyper care support and coordinate transition to AMS teams.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6-10 years of SAP experience with at least 2–5 years of direct experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM or decentralized e-wm
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in EWM Implementation
• Experience in at least one end-to‑end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, or enhancement project.
• Experience with handling unit management, batch management, serial number management, packing processes, and work centre configuration.
• Strong experience in configuring inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse management processes.
• Experience with warehouse process types, warehouse order creation, put away and removal strategies, replenishment, and physical inventory.
• Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skill with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering in any other stream
• SAP ABAP programming skills are highly desired.
• Certification in S4 – e-WM will be added advantage.
