Job summary

Neev is seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Specialist to manage end-to-end production planning and detailed scheduling. The role emphasizes evaluating demand, executing heuristics, pegging logic, and using the PP/DS Optimizer to ensure optimized manufacturing schedules.

Key responsibilities include demand evaluation, heuristics execution, pegging configuration, and DS planning board operations to minimize downtime and resolve bottlenecks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP PP/DS production planning and detailed scheduling.
• 6+ years hands-on PP/DS experience.
• Familiarity with DS Planning Board and optimizers.
• Strong knowledge of pegging and heuristics.

Responsibilities

• Demand Management & Evaluation: Oversee demand planning and evaluate supply chain production planning results within PP/DS.
• Product & Process Heuristics: Run product heuristics, product heuristics scheduling, process heuristics, and service heuristics to optimize production planning.
• Pegging Management: Configure and manage dynamic and fixed pegging rules to maintain material flow alignment between demand and supply.
• Firming & Scheduling Operations: Manage order firming and perform operational scheduling using the Detailed Scheduling (DS) Planning Board.
• Advanced Optimization: Plan and schedule production using DS strategies, heuristics, and the PP/DS Optimizer to minimize downtime and resolve bottlenecks.
