Job summary

EY in India is seeking a Senior SAP PP specialist to own and optimize SAP PP processes across Demand Planning, MRP, Production Orders, and scheduling. You will collaborate with MM, QM, EWM, and IBP teams, participate in SIT/UAT, and support go-live in a global offshore-onshore delivery model.

The role demands strong SAP PP experience in high-volume environments, with proven debugging, testing, and documentation skills. On-site opportunity within EY's Global Delivery Services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on SAP PP experience
• Strong knowledge of MRP, Planned Orders, Production Orders
• Experience integrating PP with MM, QM, EWM, IBP
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Own and support SAP PP processes including Demand Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling.
• Configure and enhance PP master data (BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions).
• Support MRP runs, analyze exceptions, and optimize planning parameters.
• Work closely with MM, QM, EWM, IBP, and OT/Planning teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live support, including hypercare.
• Analyze defects and change requests; provide root cause analysis and solution design.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and process documentation.
• Engage with business stakeholders across regions to gather requirements and align expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Own and support SAP PP processes including Demand Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling.

Skills And Attributes For Success

What we look for

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP PP with some experience in MM
• Strong knowledge of MRP, Planned Orders, Production Orders, Capacity Planning.
• Experience integrating PP with MM, QM, EWM, and/or IBP.
• Exposure to high‑volume, complex manufacturing environments (semiconductor / high‑tech preferred).
• Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a global, offshore‑onshore model and manage stakeholders effectively
• Experience in high‑volume, complex manufacturing or high‑tech environments.
