Job summary

Recmatrix Consulting seeks an experienced SAP PLM Architect to lead enterprise SAP PLM design and delivery. You will own architecture for recipes, specifications, and master data, driving end-to-end solutions across R&D, Quality and Manufacturing.

You will provide governance, set design standards and collaborate with global business and technical teams to ensure scalable, compliant PLM implementations with SAP ECC/S4HANA integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with hands-on architecture in SAP PLM.
• Deep experience in Recipe Development and Specification Management.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end SAP PLM solutions focusing on recipes and specifications.
• Lead design for formulas, versioning, approvals, and master data.
• Define scalable PLM architecture and design standards.
• Govern PLM processes across R&D, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Develop solutions for spec management, change processes, labelling and nutrition specs.
• Define integration between SAP PLM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA for data flows.
• Ensure integration with QM, MM, Production Planning and Batch Management.
• Lead blueprinting, fit-gap workshops and solution design activities.
• Provide architecture governance throughout implementation and rollout.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP PLM Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise SAP Product Lifecycle Management solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP PLM, Recipe Development and Specification Management, with the ability to architect solutions spanning R&D, Quality and Manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will provide solution architecture leadership, establish PLM design standards and work closely with business, functional and technical teams across implementation and transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end SAP PLM solutions, with a strong focus on Recipe Development and Specification Management.
• Lead solution design for formulas, recipes, specifications, versioning, approvals and product-related master data.
• Define scalable PLM architecture and design standards aligned with enterprise and business requirements.
• Design and govern PLM processes supporting R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and product lifecycle activities.
• Develop solutions for specification management, compliance-driven change processes, labelling, regulatory requirements and nutritional specifications.
• Define integration architecture between SAP PLM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, ensuring effective recipe-to-production and specification-to-quality data flows.
• Ensure integration with relevant SAP capabilities including QM, MM, Production Planning and Batch Management.
• Lead blueprinting, requirements analysis, fit-gap workshops and solution design activities.
• Provide architecture governance throughout implementation, rollout, testing and deployment.
• Mentor functional and technical teams and provide guidance on SAP PLM best practices and solution decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects and delivery teams across global programmes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on functional and solution architecture expertise in SAP PLM.
• Deep experience with SAP Recipe Development and Specification Management.
• Strong understanding of formulas, recipes, specifications, version management, approval workflows and change management.
• Experience designing PLM solutions supporting R&D, Quality and Manufacturing business processes.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP PLM, ECC/S/4HANA, QM, MM, PP and Batch Management.
• Proven experience leading SAP PLM solution design, blueprinting and fit-gap workshops.
• Experience delivering SAP PLM implementations, transformations or global rollout programmes.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP solution architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business, functional and technical teams.
