Job summary

Recmatrix Consulting seeks an experienced SAP PLM Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise SAP PLM solutions. The role requires strong SAP PLM, Recipe Development and Specification Management expertise, with the ability to architect solutions spanning R&D, Quality and Manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will provide solution architecture leadership, establish PLM design standards and work with business, functional and technical teams across implementation programmes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with hands-on architecture in SAP PLM.
• Deep expertise in SAP Recipe Development and Specification Management.
• Experience designing PLM solutions for R&D, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP PLM, ECC/S/4HANA, QM, MM, PP and Batch Management.
• Proven experience leading PLM blueprinting, fit-gap workshops and design activities.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end SAP PLM solutions with focus on recipe development and specification management.
• Lead design for formulas, recipes, specifications, versioning, approvals and master data.
• Define scalable PLM architecture and design standards aligned with business needs.
• Design and govern PLM processes covering R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and lifecycle activities.
• Develop specifications management, change processes, labelling, regulatory compliance.
• Define integration between SAP PLM and ECC/S/4HANA and ensure data flows.
• Ensure integration with QM, MM, Production Planning and Batch Management.
• Lead blueprinting, requirements analysis, fit-gap workshops and solution design.
• Provide architecture governance throughout implementation, rollout, testing and deployment.
• Mentor teams and share SAP PLM best practices and decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across global programmes and delivery teams.

About the Role

The role requires strong expertise in SAP PLM, Recipe Development and Specification Management, with the ability to architect solutions spanning R&D, Quality and Manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will provide solution architecture leadership, establish PLM design standards and work closely with business, functional and technical teams across implementation and transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end SAP PLM solutions, with a strong focus on Recipe Development and Specification Management.
• Lead solution design for formulas, recipes, specifications, versioning, approvals and product-related master data.
• Define scalable PLM architecture and design standards aligned with enterprise and business requirements.
• Design and govern PLM processes supporting R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and product lifecycle activities.
• Develop solutions for specification management, compliance-driven change processes, labelling, regulatory requirements and nutritional specifications.
• Define integration architecture between SAP PLM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, ensuring effective recipe-to-production and specification-to-quality data flows.
• Ensure integration with relevant SAP capabilities including QM, MM, Production Planning and Batch Management.
• Lead blueprinting, requirements analysis, fit-gap workshops and solution design activities.
• Provide architecture governance throughout implementation, rollout, testing and deployment.
• Mentor functional and technical teams and provide guidance on SAP PLM best practices and solution decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience designing PLM solutions supporting R&D, Quality and Manufacturing business processes.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP PLM, ECC/S/4HANA, QM, MM, PP and Batch Management.
• Proven experience leading SAP PLM solution design, blueprinting and fit-gap workshops.
• Experience delivering SAP PLM implementations, transformations or global rollout programmes.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP solution architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business, functional and technical teams.
