Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking an experienced SAP HANA/XSA developer to lead native HANA development and XSA-based application work in India. The role emphasizes hands-on XSA development and deployment, MTA project work, and integration with SAP HANA database objects.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in HANA SQLScript, data modelling, and Calculation Views, with proven ability to build scalable services using Node.js or Java on XSA and to consume REST/OData services.

Qualifications

• XSA/XS Advanced experience is mandatory.
• Strong native HANA development experience is required.
• Hands-on XSA development and deployment experience is essential.
• Experience with MTA (Multi‑Target Application) development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SQL and SQLScript.
• Experience in HANA data modelling and Calculation Views.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Java on XSA.
• Knowledge of REST APIs / OData services.
• Experience in SAP HANA application integration.

Mandatory Skills

• SAP HANA Native Development Mandatory
• SAP HANA XSA / XS Advanced – Very Mandatory
• Strong hands‑on experience in XSA application development and deployment.
• Experience with MTA (Multi‑Target Application) development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SQL and SQLScript.
• Experience in HANA data modelling.
• Strong experience with Calculation Views and HANA database objects.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Java development on XSA.
• Knowledge of REST APIs / OData services.
• Experience in SAP HANA application integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP HANA XS Classic and XS Advanced migration.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio / SAP Web IDE.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform / SAP BTP is preferred.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Important Screening Criteria

• XSA / XS Advanced experience is mandatory.
• Candidates with only SAP HANA DB / SQL / Calculation Views experience but without XSA hands‑on experience should not be considered.
• Strong Native HANA development experience is required.
