Job summary

Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant – Business Partner to drive a major SAP transformation. You will design, implement, and integrate MDG BP for Customer and Vendor master data, ensuring BRF+ rules, data quality, and clean-core alignment across ECC/S/4HANA environments.

The role requires hands-on MDG technical experience, strong debugging skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver complex data governance solutions for the life sciences

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on SAP MDG technical experience.
• Strong technical expertise in SAP MDG Business Partner.
• Strong understanding of Customer, Supplier, and Business Partner data structures.
• Hands-on experience with MDG data models, workflows, BRF+, validations, derivations, UI configuration, and replication.
• Strong experience with CVI and Customer/Vendor integration.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including MDG migration, upgrade, or transformation programs.
• Experience with data migration, mass upload, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and technically implement SAP MDG solutions for the Business Partner domain, including Customer and Supplier master data.
• Translate functional requirements into technical MDG solutions covering data models, workflows, validations, derivations, UI, and replication.
• Develop and support BRF+ rules, MDG workflows, UI configurations, and replication frameworks.
• Design and implement integration between SAP MDG BP and SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA, including CVI where applicable.
• Support MDG migration, upgrade, and transformation programs.
• Design and execute data migration, mass upload, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling processes.
• Support integration and replication through MDG/DRF and connected SAP/non-SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support defect resolution throughout testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, SAP architects, business stakeholders, integration teams, and developers.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Ensure technical solutions follow SAP Clean Core principles.

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant – Business Partner to support a major SAP transformation initiative.
