Job summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP IS-U, Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP Gateway and OData Services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP IS-U data models and integration technologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain SAP ABAP applications with strong expertise in SAP IS-U Industry Solution for Utilities.
• Work extensively with SAP IS-U data models, including key master data and transactional tables.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop scalable and reusable solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Design, develop and consume OData Services using SAP Gateway.
• Develop and manage advanced OData services, including:
  • Deep Insert structures
  • Complex Entity Expansions
  • Batch Processing
  • Entity Associations and Navigation
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Work with SAP integration technologies such as RFCs, BAPIs and Proxies.
• Design and implement seamless integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP and OData-related issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.
• Perform unit testing, defect fixing and production support activities.
• Follow SAP development standards and best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
• Strong experience in SAP IS-U / Utilities.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U data models.
• Good understanding of SAP IS-U master data and transactional tables.
• Strong hands-on experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
