Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking an experienced SAP IBP specialist with 10+ years in Demand or Supply & Response to lead planning configurations and integrations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP IBP setups for demand, supply, and response planning, while optimizing PPDS and related modules.

Responsibilities include designing forecasting KPIs, integrating with S/4HANA/ECC, and developing analytics in Fiori/Excel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP IBP experience with Demand or Supply & Response focus.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning and supply planning methodologies.
• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and external ERP systems.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI/RTI integration.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into SAP IBP configurations for demand, supply & response planning.
• Configure product segmentation, outlier correction, and forecasting KPIs.
• Design and optimize planning algorithms including heuristics and optimizer-based approaches.
• Integrate IBP/PPDS/ePPDS with S/4HANA/ECC and external sources.
• Develop planning models, KPIs, and analytics in Fiori and Excel UI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (demand, inventory, production, procurement).
• Provide post-implementation support and user training.

Your work profile

• 10 yr to 12 years of overall relevant experience in SAP related engagement with a focus on IBP for Supply & Response.
• Strong understanding of supply planning methodologies, including heuristic, optimizer, cost modelling, and allocation strategies.
• Experience in integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP systems.
• Good functional understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI/ RTI data integration.
• Implement and configure SAP IBP for Demand, Supply & Response, PPDS to support demand planning, supply planning and response planning, production scheduling processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Design and configure product segmentation, outlier correction, statistical forecasting, new product introduction, product realignment functionalities along with demand planning KPIs.
• Design and optimize supply planning algorithms, including heuristic and optimizer-based planning.
• Configure allocation planning, fair share distribution, and constraint-based planning.

Configure setup time, setup matrix, standard and custom PP heuristics, scheduling optimizer

• Integrate SAP IBP and APO PPDS/ePPDS with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external data sources.
• Develop and maintain planning models, key figures, and analytics using SAP Fiori and Excel UI.

Develop DS scheduling board, product and resource views to enhance factory planners UI

• Conduct system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance for demand-supply balancing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planning, inventory, production, and procurement.

Key skills required

• 3 to 8 years of overall relevant experience in SAP related engagement with a focus on IBP Demand or IBP for Supply & Response or Detailed Scheduling.
• Strong understanding of demand planning processes, supply planning methodologies, including heuristic, optimizer cost modelling, and allocation strategies.
• Experience in integrating SAP IBP and PPDS with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP systems.
• Good functional understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI/ RTI / CIF data integration.
• Education backgrounds - BE or Equivalent
• Soft skills - Strong Communication skills desired
• Travel readiness - Should not have constraints to Travel as and when required

• Base location: Mumbai/Bangalore
• This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
