Job summary

OptiValue Tek in Bengaluru is seeking an SAP IBP Consultant on a hybrid contract to design, configure, and support end-to-end SAP IBP solutions for demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP.

You will lead workshops, document designs, manage master data, and ensure smooth integrations with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and other tools. Strong consulting and cross-functional teamwork are essential for effective stakeholder alignment in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and translate to IBP configurations.
• Consulting capabilities including stakeholder management and solution design.
• Experience with supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP in IBP or similar.
• Hands-on master data management for IBP and ERP alignment.
• Knowledge of integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and other tools.
• Prior SAP IBP consultant experience, preferably multi-module or multi-region.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions and planning performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and hybrid-work collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or related field; IBP certification is an advantage.

Role Description

The SAP IBP Consultant will work on a contract basis in a hybrid arrangement, primarily based in Bengaluru with some flexibility for work from home. This role involves designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions across demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, translate them into functional designs, and align IBP capabilities with existing SAP and non-SAP landscapes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workshops, preparing solution documentation, managing data models and master data, testing configurations, resolving integration issues, and supporting user training and adoption. The role also requires close coordination with technical teams to ensure robust integrations, performance, and scalability of SAP IBP solutions.

• Experience with business processes related to supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP within SAP IBP or similar tools.
• Hands‑on expertise in managing master data for SAP IBP, including data structures, data quality, and alignment with core ERP landscapes.
• Knowledge of integration concepts, including connecting SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, other planning tools, and external data sources.
• Prior experience as an SAP IBP or supply chain planning consultant, preferably in multi‑module or multi‑region implementations.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based SAP solutions, batch jobs, and performance optimization in planning environments.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams in a hybrid work setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP IBP certifications are an advantage.
