Job summary

Photon is seeking a Senior SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud Developer to join our Chennai-based, on-site team. The role requires deep Hybris expertise, strong Java/Spring Boot skills, and hands-on work with Spartacus storefronts, order management, pricing, and promotions.

The candidate will design and extend the Hybris platform for a modern ecommerce website, integrate with payments and ERP systems, and optimize performance for high-volume orders with low latency on cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering.

Deep hands-on experience with Hybris modules: Core, Backoffice, OCC, Spartacus (Angular storefront), Order Management, Pricing, and Promotions. Proven work on scalable e-commerce features such as fast checkout flows, real-time inventory, personalized experiences, cart management, and search. Solid skills in REST API development, SQL databases, Solr/Elasticsearch, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience tuning performance for high-volume sites handling thousands of orders per minute with low latency.
