Job summary

Astral Adhesives seeks a SAP Functional Support specialist to provide Level 2/3 assistance across SAP modules and to analyze and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams including SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and Basis, and assist in data migration and system upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SAP functional processes in one or more modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM/EWM, etc.).
• Experience in SAP production support and incident management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 SAP functional support.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 functional support for SAP business applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP incidents, service requests, and production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor SAP support queues and prioritize tickets based on business impact.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions for recurring issues.
• Configure SAP functionality based on business requirements.
• Work with business users to gather requirements for enhancements and process improvements.
• Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for custom developments.
• Coordinate with ABAP developers for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, BADIs, and user exits.
• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform data validation and assist in data migration activities when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and Basis.
• Support system upgrades, patches, rollouts, and SAP S/4HANA migration activities.
• Create and maintain process documentation, knowledge base articles, and user manuals.
• Provide end-user training and functional guidance.
• Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of SAP functional processes in one or more modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM/EWM, etc.).
• Experience in SAP production support and incident management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and documentation.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or other ITSM ticketing tools.
• Understanding of SAP integration with other functional modules.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
