Job summary

Aeries Technology is seeking an SAP Fiori/ABAP Developer for our Hyderabad technology centre. You will own end-to-end SAP frontend and backend development, including Fiori/UI5 apps and ABAP on HANA. You will work with global stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions.

The role focuses on CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based applications within an S/4HANA environment, with hybrid work in Hyderabad. Strong ABAP, Fiori, and integration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years SAP development experience.
• 2–3 years Fiori/UI5 experience.
• Deep ABAP OO ABAP, Enhancements/BAdIs.
• CDS views and OData v2/v4 service development.
• Experience on S/4HANA (greenfield, brownfield or ongoing support).
• Fiori Launchpad configuration and role/authorisation design.
• Comfortable in an agile delivery model with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 applications—both standard app extensions and custom-built apps.
• Develop and optimise backend logic in ABAP / ABAP on HANA, including CDS views, AMDPs and OData services.
• Build applications using the ABAP RAP and BOPF where applicable.
• Configure and troubleshoot the Fiori Launchpad—catalogues, groups, tiles, roles and authorisations.
• Handle debugging and performance tuning across the stack (SQL trace, ATC, code inspector, SAT).
• Work with functional consultants across FI/CO, MM and SD to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Support integration via SAP Gateway, BTP services and third-party APIs.

About the role

BCD Travel's Hyderabad technology centre supports global business applications across finance, procurement and back-office operations. We're looking for an SAP developer who is equally strong on the front end (Fiori/UI5) and the back end (ABAP ) — someone who can own a requirement from CDS view to deployed Fiori app rather than handing off at the boundary.

What you'll do

• Design, build and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 applications — both standard app extensions and custom-built apps
• Develop and optimise backend logic in ABAP / ABAP on HANA, including CDS views, AMDPs and OData services
• Build applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming model (RAP) and BOPF where applicable
• Configure and troubleshoot the Fiori Launchpad — catalogues, groups, tiles, roles and authorisationsHandle debugging and performance tuning across the stack (SQL trace, ATC, code inspector, SAT)
• Work with functional consultants across FI/CO, MM and SD to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Support integration via SAP Gateway, BTP services and third-party APIs
• Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and follow clean-core/upgrade-safe extension practices

Must have

• 6 + years of hands-on SAP development, with at least 2–3 years on Fiori/UI5
• Deep ABAP: OO ABAP, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, ALV, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, IDocs
• CDS views, annotations, and OData v2/v4 service development (SEGW and/or RAP)
• Experience on S/4HANA (greenfield, brownfield or ongoing support)
• Working knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration and role/ authorisation design
• Comfortable in an agile delivery model with global stakeholders

Good to have

• SAP BTP — CAP, Business Application Studio, Workflow, Integration Suite
• SAP Build / low-code exposure
• Git-based transport or CI/CD for ABAP ( abapGit , gCTS )
• Prior experience in travel, hospitality, logistics or shared-services environments
• SAP certification in Fiori or ABAP for S/4HANA

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
