Job summary

Birlasoft in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP FICO + Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant to lead and support FICO and CFIN implementations on SAP S/4HANA. You will map business requirements to SAP solutions and configure core FI and CO processes, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting, while enabling real-time reporting through Central Finance.

The role covers architecture design, SLT replication, chart of accounts mapping, and data reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Proven experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
• E-invoice experience & knowledge is must.
• Good understanding of Finance business processes.
• Experience with SLT, AIF, and financial data replication.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance Migration
• Knowledge of Group Reporting / Universal Journal
• Exposure to SAP Fiori Finance Apps

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP FICO and Central Finance (CFIN) implementations on SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP FICO and CFIN solutions.
• Configure and support core FI processes: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.
• Configure CO modules: CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing.
• Design Central Finance architecture: SLT replication.
• Work on chart of accounts mapping and document splitting.
• Support period-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with technical teams on SLT, AIF, and data replication issues.
• Provide UAT and production support, issue resolution.
• Prepare functional specs and documentation.
• CFIN-specific: configure Central Finance scenarios, FI replication and AIF monitoring.
• Support data reconciliation and validation in Finance.
• Assist S/4HANA finance landscape transformation and migration programs.

SAP FICO + CFIN (Central Finance) Consultant

Experience: -8-10 Years

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO + Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant with strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting and Controlling, along with hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA Central Finance implementations. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting financial processes while enabling real‑time financial reporting through Central Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support SAP FICO and Central Finance (CFIN) implementations on SAP S/4HANA.

Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP FICO and CFIN solutions.

Configure and support core FI processes:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Asset Accounting (AA)

Bank Accounting

Configure Controlling (CO) modules:

Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

Internal Orders

Product Costing (basic exposure)

Design and implement Central Finance architecture, including:

SLT replication

Work on financial harmonization, chart of accounts mapping, and document splitting.

Support period‑end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Collaborate with technical teams on SLT, AIF, and data replication issues.

Provide UAT support, production support, and issue resolution.

Prepare functional specifications and relevant documentation.

CFIN‑Specific Responsibilities:

Configure and manage SAP Central Finance scenarios.

Handle FI document replication, error handling, and AIF monitoring.

Support Finance data reconciliation and validation.

Assist in S/4HANA finance landscape transformation and migration programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong hands‑on experience in SAP FICO.

Proven experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
