Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) in Bengaluru is seeking a Principal SAP FICO Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to support global implementations. The role requires strong functional knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder management within a SAFe/Agile delivery setup across geographies.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Asset Accounting processes, drive solution design, and mentor junior consultants while collaborating

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of SAP FICO experience with focus on FI – Asset Accounting.
• Hands-on working knowledge of S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (mandatory).
• Experience in at least one global S/4HANA implementation or rollout project.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver S/4HANA New Asset Accounting implementations/enhancement, including organizational structures, depreciation areas, and integration with GL/CO/Logistics.
• Configure end-to-end Asset Accounting processes: asset acquisition, capitalization, transfer, revaluation, retirement, and depreciation runs.
• Drive solution design and functional specifications aligned with business requirements.
• Mentor junior consultants and engage with global stakeholders in a SAFe/Agile setup.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep hands‑on expertise in S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to support and drive global S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, and be comfortable working in a SAFe / Agile delivery setup across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities SAP FICO – Asset Accounting

• Lead and deliver S/4HANA New Asset Accounting implementations/enhancement, including:
  • Organizational structures and chart of depreciation
  • Asset classes, depreciation areas, and parallel valuation
  • Integration with General Ledger (New GL), Controlling, and Logistics
• Configure and support end‑to‑end Asset Accounting processes:
  • Asset acquisition, capitalization, transfer, revaluation, retirement, and depreciation runs
• Drive solution design, and functional specifications aligned with business requirements

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions
• Participate in workshops, design reviews, and steering discussions with global stakeholders

Agile / SAFe Ways of Working

• Work within a SAFe Agile framework, collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross‑functional teams
• Contribute to PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews
• Support continuous improvement, automation, and simplification initiatives

Governance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to solution standards, design principles, and best practices
• Support audit requirements and financial controls related to Asset Accounting
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
  OR
• MBA in Finance (from a reputed institute)

Mandatory Skills

• 8–11 years of SAP FICO experience, with strong focus on FI – Asset Accounting
• Hands‑on working knowledge of S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (mandatory)
• Experience in at least one global S/4HANA implementation or rollout project
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes and accounting principles
• Experience working in a SAFe / Agile delivery model
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Integration knowledge with Controlling (CO), MM, PS, or other logistics modules
• Exposure to financial data migration (e.g., CVI, asset data migration)
• Experience working with multi‑country / multi‑company code environment/Multi Landscape
