Job summary

NEXWARE is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO consultant to support financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Asset Accounting. The role involves month-end and year-end closing, FI-MM integration, and collaboration with SD/MM/ABAP teams.

The ideal candidate will have SAP FI/S/4HANA certification, strong testing skills with UFT/ALM, and excellent communication to interact with business users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FI/CO modules in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of GL, AR, AP and Asset Accounting.
• Experience with FI-MM integration and cross-module interfaces.
• Ability to write functional specifications for customizations and enhancements.
• Testing expertise with UFT/ALM tools and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional SAP FI/CO support across FI/CO domains including GL, AR, AP and Asset Accounting.
• Execute period-end closing activities (month-end, year-end) for FI and CO.
• Coordinate with FI-MM and FISD teams for integrated processes.
• Draft functional specs for changes and enhancements in SAP.
• Prepare and run test scripts and scenarios in UFT/ALM.
• Collaborate with SD/MM/ABAP teams as needed and ensure quality adherence.
• Communicate effectively with business users to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Job Description

Having Good Business process and Functional Support knowledge for SAP FI module in the areas of Financial Accounting Global settings and Enterprise Structure settings, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Asset Accounting.

• For CO module in the areas of Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Profit Segment and Profitability Analysis.
• Periodical Closing Activities Month end, Half yearly end and Year end closing activities relating to both FI and Co.
• Integration with FI-MM and FISD Process knowledge
• Functional Specifications for customizations and enhancements which include Financial Reports, program changes as per Business Requirement.
• Functional & Integration Testing knowledge after Change Request / Development completion, like, preparing of Test Scripts and Running Test Scenarios in UFT/ALM Automated Software
• Cross Module functional & technical knowledge to support SD/MM/ABAP Teams as and when required.
• Need to understand Global Common methodology, the Quality process knowledge to work as per Quality Process and Procedures.
• Need to work in Incident management Tool and other Testing Tools.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills experience for interacting with the Business users to resolve and close the issues reported.
• Good working experience in Core Accounting, Taxation process will be an advantage.
• SAP FI / SAP S4 HANA Certification is an added advantage
